Recovery of copper and nickel from electroplating sludge

In this paper, the process of recovering copper and nickel from copper-nickel electroplating sludge was studied, and the optimum conditions for extracting copper and nickel were determined. The experimental results show that using M5640 as extractant, sulfuric acid solution as back extractant, after extraction and separation. The recovery of copper is greater than 90%, and the recovery of nickel is greater than 95%.
