(3) Due to the increased elevation difference, the water injection pressure during pipeline pressure test and water injection is increased, and the volume of the gas barrier formed by the traditional direct injection method will be further increased, so that the difficulty of pipeline pressure test and water injection is increased. The analysis of the experimental pressure value has also become very tedious, and sometimes it is even impossible to analyze and judge whether the pressure test result is reasonable. In this way, new requirements are also placed on the selection of the pressure test pump and the choice of water injection method.

When the vertical height drop of the pipeline is large, the water supply of the pipeline pressure test needs to solve two main problems. First, the air content in the pipeline needs to be controlled within a reasonable range; second, the water injection system meets the water supply requirements . To effectively control the air content in the pressure test pipe section, a reasonable water injection method must be used. The traditional pipeline pressure test water injection adopts the method of direct injection and high point venting. This method easily forms air resistance in the pipe section. The gas is discharged from the vent valve at the end of the pipeline, which is obtained by the water injection method.

In the construction of pipelines, it is a task with high technical requirements, especially in the case of a large difference in vertical elevation of the pipeline, the influence of the pressure of the water itself due to the height difference must not be ignored, especially in the internal force.
