Toppan Printing will produce color filters for LCD panels in China. Taiwan Toppan International Color Light Co., Ltd., which is funded by Toppan Printing with 51% and AUO 49%, will set up a color filter production and sales subsidiary in Kunshan City, "Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. (Kunshan) Limited Company (tentatively).
Taiwan's largest LCD panel maker AUO plans to build a “7.5th generation†LCD panel factory (substrate 1950mm×2250mm) in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. Toppan AUO will build a color filter production line at AUO's LCD panel factory and supply it directly.
