With laughter and applause, trophies and certificates of the same brilliance, yesterday's award-winning Shanxi digital science and technology meritorious people returned and were greeted by the masses. At the 2003 National Science and Technology Awards Conference, Shanxi Province had a total of six scientific research achievements, one of which won the second prize for national science and technology progress, and five of which received the second prize for national technological invention.
The 5 items that won the second prize for national technological inventions were: Research and application of the stability of low-grade colored colored wines researched by Shanxi University and Shanxi Xinghuacun Distillery Co., Ltd., Zhang Shengwan, Du Xiaowei and others. “Research on the extension of the bearing life of large rolling mills†completed by Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Institute, Beijing Yanshan University, Huang Qingxue, Shen Guangxian et al.; “Ningfeng Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi University Cheng Fangqin, Wu Linmao et al.†"Key Technology Research on the Production of Potassium Sulfate and Its Industrial Application" project; "The development and application research of large-scale Luqi Coal Ammonia Process Technology" project developed by Tianji Group's engineering technicians; led by Wang Yide, Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group "High-quality stainless steel sheet technology research and development" project. Another scientific research achievement won the National Science and Technology Progress Award was completed by the North China Institute of Technology independently.
