Sidel said that its new Combi Eurotronica FM-C combines its blow-molding technology with the flow meter filling technology developed by Simonazzi. The design department from both companies designed the new Combi machine, which uses SBO Universal blow molding technology and flowmeter filling technology, which has a speed of 61200 bottles/hour.
Each flow meter in this system has its own printed circuit board to control the opening and closing of filling valves, and can communicate with the central controller of the machine via infrared technology. According to Sidel, this makes the filling very precise and the data transfer is fast and continuous.
With a petal-shaped bottom design, this machine also allows manufacturers to make lighter plastic bottles. During the pre-finished blow molding process, the pressure in the mold has dropped to 28 Pa, reducing the energy consumption.
Another technological advancement of the Combi machine is that the replacement time is very short and can better meet the needs of the filler for versatility.
