However, the inherent defects of plastic materials have made the application of PET bottles limited and developed. If PET has low glass transition temperature, shrinkage, cracking, etc. occur during hot filling; oxygen and carbon dioxide gas barrier properties are poor; and polar solvents are susceptible to corrosion.
