Dr. BOY launches BOY 55 series injection molding machine

A BOY 55 A injection molding machine (clamping force of 550 kN) will be used to perform insulin syringe cap production in a 16-cavity mold to demonstrate its "clean room" use. A laminar flow device is installed on the upper part of the mold clamping device to provide ionized air

. The push rod and dual plate clamp system are miniaturized to ensure a stable flow of clean ambient air. The downstream packaging unit is sealed from the surrounding environment and directly under the cantilever clamping device, which can save space. The BOY 55 A model is particularly suitable for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. By using a servo motor screw drive and dual pumps, energy consumption can be reduced and cycle times can be shortened. With these alternative features, metering and ejection can be performed at the same time.

In addition, the BOY 55 M VV model will demonstrate the advantages of a modular, miniaturized automation unit. By inserting a set of 6-axis robots into different processing stations and transposing between the processing stations, hexagonal bolts of various sizes are overmolded.
