The figure below shows that the glue viscosity is too low when gluing, and the gluing speed is too fast. As described earlier in this book, water-like, low-viscosity pastes can produce insufficient glue on the paste. The lateral ejection of the paste from the corrugated direction clearly indicates that the viscosity of the paste is too low, and paste with a high content of borax will also flow from the paste roll. Low viscosity can offset the effect of borax to some extent. Severe paste ejection may also be caused by the lack of a blowout guard on the gluing machine. In severe cases, it can cause board warping or the board humidity is too high. Carton adhesive strength, side pressure strength and carton compressive strength will be reduced accordingly, it is also possible to form a zippered adhesive cardboard or cause the delamination of the tissue.
