Symptom: After the print command is issued, the printer does not respond, and the system prompts whether the printer is online and the cable connection is normal.

Cause: There are many reasons for the printer not printing. There are printers and computers. The following are introduced separately:

Exclusions: 1. Check if the printer is online. On most printers, there is a light next to the "OnLine" button that indicates the online status. Normally the line should be steady on. If the indicator is not lit or flashing, the connection is not normal. Check whether the printer is powered on, the printer power switch is turned on, and the printer cable is properly connected. If the online indicator is normal, turn off the printer and then turn it on again to see if the print test page is working.

2. Check if the printer is set as the default printer. Click "Start - Settings - Printer" to check if there is a black small hook on the currently used printer icon, and then set the printer as the default printer. If there are no printers in the Printers window, click the Add Printer icon and follow the prompts to install.

3. Check if the current printer is set to pause printing. This is done by right-clicking the printer icon in the Printers window and checking for a small hook on the Pause Printing option in the drop-down menu that appears. If you selected Pause Printing, deselect this option.
