The wireless bookbinding process is widely used in book binding because of its good spine flatness, vertical and square back of the book, stable mouth cover paste volume and good appearance quality.
Our factory is a professional fixed-point book and printing company in Fujian. In order to meet the market requirements for book quality, the wireless binding process has been used and has achieved certain results. However, in the process of use, some failures are often encountered, which affects the production efficiency and the quality of the package cost. For example, when we used JBB50-B type bound binding machine to bind 60g offset paper book blocks, the appearance of the back of the book was very unstable. The bound book had uneven "glue" and the back of the book was wrinkled longitudinally. Phenomenon; there are "dovetail grooves" in the back of the book, and there are also problems caused by the inconsistency of washing the back and cutting the groove. The occurrence of these faults seems to be due to the unfavorable thickness of the adhesive; the improper height of the pallet and the spacing between the front and rear splints; the excessive back milling of the book block or the blunt milling cutter and groove cutter deform the milling back. To this end, we have used methods such as adjusting the thickness of the adhesive backing, the distance between the front and back plywood, and height. However, the above problems have not been eliminated. Even the more tuned the chaos, the less the back of the book is, and the back of the book is even more deformed. So, what is the root cause of the failure? After many careful observations and careful analysis and research, it was finally found out that the exact cause of failures such as wrinkling of the back of the book, deformation and cracking of the back of the book block was on the back box. The machine's back box is equipped with a fixed plate and a movable guard. When the book back passes between these "two plates", it can prevent the book block from deforming when milling the back and cutting the groove, ensuring uniform and stable back milling and cutting. . However, because the milling cutter head causes the book block to produce a certain frictional resistance to the inside of the "two plates" during milling, after a period of use, the inside of the two splints is severely worn and cannot support the book block to prevent the book back from being milled and deformed. After analyzing the situation, we opened the movable plate on the milling back box, and found that the inner side of the movable plate and the fixed plate corresponding to the milling back cutting edge showed a small section of deep arc-shaped depression wear. In this regard, by repairing and repairing the worn parts on the inside of the "two plates", the above-mentioned book cover faults are immediately eliminated. The back of the book cover is neat and the pages will no longer be milled or broken. The quality is better guaranteed.
Through the observation, analysis and elimination of bad faults in the book, it gives the author a great inspiration. Only by preventing the wear of equipment parts can the faults of perfect binding be avoided. So, how to prevent and reduce equipment wear to the greatest extent? In addition to the careful maintenance of equipment, reasonable operation and strict process regulations are also very important. The back milling should be based on the principle of "folding" that can cut the book block, and the amount of back milling should be reduced as much as possible to reduce the working resistance of the back milling cutter and grooving knife, thereby reducing the lower part of the book block to the inside of the fixed plate and movable guard The friction force prevents the sides of the "two plates" from being worn into a concave shape. In addition, the distance between the "two plates" should also be adjusted. When the book block passes between the fixed plate and the movable guard, a slight resistance is felt. When the milling cutter head works, it will not be adjusted due to the "two plates" spacing. If it is too large, the trembling friction of the book block's milling back causes the inside of the "two plates" corresponding to the blade edge to wear. This is also to ensure the quality of the milling back, prevent the milling deformation of the book back, and promote the stable operation of the book. It is an important measure to minimize the wear of the "two plates" clip edge, adhesive backing, and back milling. Minimize the amount of back milling as much as possible, but also help to maintain the sharpness of the back milling cutter and slotting cutter, prevent the back mill deformation, and stabilize the quality of the package. It can be seen how correct operation and reasonable technology are to ensure the quality of wireless binding!
