The use of salt spray test and the requirements for test equipment (below)

In the above, we talked about the significance and use of the salt spray test in the standard implementation specification of the ASTM_B117 salt spray (atomization) device operation. Below we will explain the requirements of the standard for the salt spray test device.

1. Salt spray (atomization) exposure test equipment includes a spray chamber, a salt solution storage tank, a suitably regulated source of compressed air, one or more spray nozzles, sample holders, equipment for heating the spray chamber And the necessary control methods. The size and detailed structure of the device are optional as long as the conditions obtained meet the requirements of this specification;

2. The solution droplets accumulated on the ceiling or top of the spray chamber are not allowed to drip on the sample to be exposed;

3. The drop of the solution falling on the sample cannot be returned to the solution storage tank for re-injection;

4. Building materials must not affect the corrosiveness of the fog;

5. All water used in this specification shall comply with Type IV water as specified in Standard D 1193 (except for chloride and sodium salts as specified in this specification). This rule does not apply to tap water. All other water is considered to be reagent grade.

Second, the salt spray test requirements for test samples

The type and quantity of test samples used and the evaluation criteria for the test results shall be specified in the standard, including materials or products to be exposed, or agreed by the buyer and the seller.

Dermal Filler Injection

Injectable Dermal Fillers provide a minimally invasive approach to reducing facial lines and wrinkles and restore volume to the face. Due to their popularity and benefits, plastic surgeons are finding ways to maximize the benefits. A recent study suggests that dermal fillers provide varying degrees of lifting and volumizing effects for each patient.

Scans were taken of the cadavers after dermal fillers were injected and showed significant increases in local soft tissue volume in central areas of the face. By targeting these areas, the facial injections provided local lifting effects, however, the benefits were extremely localized with no accompanying regional effects. But, when dermal fillers were injected in lateral areas such as the temple, mid-face, and jawline, the fillers not only created localized lifting but also regional lifting in neighboring areas of the face.

With these findings, plastic surgeons are seeing the importance of combined injection techniques to provide larger benefits for their patients. For example, if a plastic surgeon added a deep filler injection and a temple injection, the technique provided an additional 17.5 percent increase in lifting the temple, plus a 100 percent increase in lifting the jawline.
