The joint office WeWork is renovated in Hong Kong, and the space design is inspired by the urban streetscape.

This is also WeWork's long-standing strategy, emphasizing the localized design language.

WeWork, a US joint office startup, recently expanded rapidly in Asia. Following the opening of three consecutive stores in Shanghai and Beijing last year, this year, two joint office spaces were opened in Causeway Bay and Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

At the first stop in Hong Kong, WeWork settled in the TOWER 535, a commercial complex that was recently completed in Causeway Bay. It also invited the Hong Kong local architectural design company NCDA to design space, including chain restaurants such as McDonald's and Pizza Express. They are all their customers. We have introduced a Chaozhou cuisine restaurant Baile Pavilion designed by NCDA.

Adapting to local conditions has always been WeWork's design strategy for decorating office space in cities around the world. They emphasize localized design language, which is also confirmed in the Causeway Bay store.

WeWork occupies a total of 8 floors of 5,570 square meters of TOWER 535.

The expansion of WeWork actually shows that non-fixed, open office layout, flexible, and high-interaction working modes are becoming more and more popular. The NCDA team considered the characteristics of this joint office space and received the Hong Kong logo. Inspired by the sexual traffic system and typical urban streetscapes, the space on each floor is defined as the “near neighborhood”.
