The promulgation of the "Opinions" is another major initiative for the new government to co-ordinate steady growth, adjust the structure, promote reform, and benefit the people's livelihood. It will continue to introduce another major measure that is both profitable and long-term, and alleviates bottlenecks and expands effective demand for resources and environment. It is of great significance to transform the economic development mode, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and enhance the development of endogenous dynamics.
The "Opinions" clarify the four key tasks of promoting the accelerated development of energy conservation and environmental protection industries:
First, focus on key areas and promote the overall development of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry. Accelerate the development of energy-saving, environmental protection, resource recycling technology and equipment, improve the technical level; innovative development model, and expand the energy-saving and environmental protection service industry.
