The traditional p-hydroxybenzaldehyde production process uses chloroform soda method to produce 3-4 byproducts of o-hydroxybenzaldehyde. This project adopts a one-step catalytic oxidation method of p-cresol to produce a new process of p-hydroxybenzaldehyde. The process route is short and there is no o-hydroxybenzaldehyde by-product. Because of the closed loop of wastewater, there is basically no wastewater discharge.

The key intermediate of the new-generation semi-synthetic penicillin amoxycillin, the key raw material for p-hydroxyphenylglycine, is a number of drugs and new drugs.
