German scientists recently developed a new type of environmentally-friendly fire-retardant plastic. Traditionally used fire-retardant plastics have many shortcomings. For example, added fire retardants can easily evaporate substances that are harmful to the human body and can easily fail after a long time. The scientists at the Institute of Applied Polymers at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany wrapped fireproofing agents in small balls made of melamine resin, and then added these balls to the process of plastic production. Fireproof plastic can effectively overcome the above shortcomings.
Luoyang launches ultra-high polymer compound plastics: Researchers and engineering technicians from Luoyang Kaitong Gaoxin Plastic Parts Factory, which belongs to Luoyang Kaitong Group, Henan Province, have successfully developed ultra-high polymer composite plastics and developed them with this material after 3 years of research. Production of industrial products such as pipes, plates, belt conveyor idlers and rain covers for municipal roads has filled our country’s gaps in this area.
