These included the provision of RMB 81.91 million to the wholly-owned subsidiary Anhui Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the construction of two plastic bottle infusion production lines and the transformation of a plastic bottle infusion production line; the wholly-owned subsidiary Wuhan Binhu Shuanghe The Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. provided loan of 28.68 million yuan to build a new plastic bottle infusion production line.

The company is currently a large-scale general pharmaceutical production enterprise in China. The company's industrial structure is clear, and each product has certain advantages in subdivided fields. Its main products are mainly concentrated in three major areas, namely the field of large infusions, the field of antihypertensive drugs, and the field of hypoglycemic agents. In order to achieve the company's 2008 business plan and future development strategic goals, the company will continue to increase input in the infusion packaging structure adjustment, product structure adjustment and other aspects. After this new construction and expansion project is put into operation, the production line of Shuanghe Pharmaceutical will reach more than 40 lines, and the designed capacity will reach nearly 1.3 billion bottles/bag. The proportion of packaging production capacity (bottle/plastic bottle/plastic bag) is 4.1/ 4.6/1.3. The production of plastic bottles with higher gross profit margins from glass bottles to products will increase the profitability of large infusion products and increase the company’s core competitiveness. The company will have monopolistic advantages in the domestic large infusion field and build “China's infusion brand” enterprises.
