Five years later, the satellite was developed.

According to reports, the first quantum science experimental satellite uses a platform load integrated design, weighing 640 kg, orbital height of 500 km. It is equipped with a quantum key communication machine, a quantum entanglement transmitter, a quantum entanglement source, a quantum test control and a processor, and can simultaneously establish a quantum optical link with two optical stations on the ground that are thousands of kilometers apart. "Mozi" satellite launch is the first step to realize long-distance quantum communication.
