The accuracy of the compounding ratio of the automatic glue mixer is usually detected as follows:
1. Prepare two clean transparent glass containers (with a volume of not less than 2 liters each) and weigh their respective weights.
2. Place the selected solvent-free two-component adhesive (abbreviated as A glue and B glue, respectively) into the two plastic storage barrels of the automatic glue mixer to be tested.
3. Preheat the relevant parts of the automatic glue mixer according to the requirements of the instruction manual of the two-component glue until the temperature at each point reaches the set value.
4. Select the input values ​​of A glue and B glue according to the mixing ratio required in the specification.
5. Using the “single action†function of the mixer, the gear pump of the glue mixer transports the A glue and the B glue to the container prepared in advance.
6. Weigh the weights of A glue and B glue separately with electronic scale (accuracy 0.001g): Wa and Wb
7. Calculate the weight ratio of A glue and B glue:
Wa:Wb = 100:Ib, where Ib = (Wb/Wa)× 100
The test result is the static compounding ratio of the automatic glue mixer. Traditionally, the compounding ratio is expressed in the form of 100:100, 100:75, and 100:50.
